Send us your best footy photos – and win $1000 from the National Indigenous Times!
Fitzroy Crossing’s Junjuwa Magpies have won the National Indigenous Times’ sponsorship award for 2016.
The $1000 they get from NIT goes to new jumpers and other financial outlays that come at a hefty price for all footy clubs – especially those in remote parts of the country.
The “Maggies” take part in the Central Kimberley Football League in far-north WA and play for the Marra Worra Worra Cup.
Many of them often travel hundreds of kilometres every week from remote communities across the Fitzroy Valley to play the Bulldogs, the Dockers, the Blues, the Crows and the Suns in what is always a hard-fought competition.
The $1000 will again be awarded next year and we here at NIT are asking you to send us your best footy photo to be in the running for next year’s sponsorship.
We especially want to see great action shots, specky marks, great goals . . . you get the picture.
Send them and your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will publish the best of them – and you and your team will be in the running to win the $1000 sponsorship for the 2017 season.
