Customer service top notch at Karijini

The customer service at Gumala Enterprises’ Karijini Eco Retreat in Western Australia’s Pilbara has been recognised with a Outstanding Service Award.

The coveted accolade is presented to accommodation establishments that consistently achieve high customer review ratings on the global hotel search engine.

Several factors are assessed including cleanliness, facilities, location, rooms and service.

Gumala Enterprises’ interim chief executive officer Doug Grewar said it was pleasing to see the organisation’s ecotourism property acknowledged for its approach to going above and beyond to meet customer needs.

“We are proud of the outback experience on offer at Karijini Eco Retreat and it’s particularly rewarding to receive an award that is customer-driven,” he said.

Mr Grewar said Karijini Eco Retreat, which is operated in partnership with The Hospitality Group, was an example of the growing trend in ecotourism in Australia.

“Gumala Enterprises has established significant experience in developing delivering this unique ‘back to nature’ holiday destination and we are keen to explore more ecotourism opportunities in the future,” he said.
